2003 and The Elephant Under the Table
By Lee Carroll

Almost every article you might read at this time will probably be about the new year. Why not? It's the subject at hand. Resolutions will be made, new diets (or old ones) will be revisited and old projects reopened (or at least the intent will be given to try). It's just Human nature to welcome in the new year this way - kind of a way to honor new beginnings.

However, while you're doing that, there is an "elephant under the table." What's that? (you might ask) It's an old phrase that means "something that is obvious, but which isn't spoken of." Picture a number of people who don't know each other very well having dinner together. They talk about the food, the weather, and everything trivial except...the elephant under the table. It's like when the Catholic girl brings home the Jewish boyfriend for dinner. Everyone talks about everything but the obvious! Everyone knows the overlaying situation, but it's not polite or proper, or politically correct to say... "Excuse me, but isn't he Jewish?"

In the midst of all the Happy New Year greetings, we have an elephant lurking. In the middle of our celebration and intent-giving and resolution-making, there is something looming large. It's there and it's real. It actually is an elephant which has many parts, depending on your point of view and your awareness of metaphysical things. For those who don't wish to delve into the metaphysical, there's still an elephant.

As I write this, we we maybe preparing for war. Perhaps as you read this, we already are? Wright or wrong, this action will create incredible sorrow, hardship, and ruination for thousands of lives. It always does. We often place an overview on these things that removes us from the ugly details. It helps us to cope as humanitarians. But we are aware that war always boils down to individual Humans being killed, maimed, or at least displaced in ways that are heartbreaking. Lives are torn apart, families are changed forever, and hopes and dreams are shattered. Metaphysically, it creates energy which changes the planet. Spiritually, it changes the vibration of an entire area. It can take many years to cleanse energies that are created out of battle. Have you ever visited an ancient battle ground, perhaps from our own civil or Indian wars, and felt the energy there? It's like it happened yesterday! I've been to France and felt the energy in Normandy at Omaha Beach. It's thick with sorrow. Oh, the honor is there too, but the main feeling is sadness, even though it led to a solution of a world war.

Now, if you are metaphysical, add to this elephant the incredible shift of planetary energy that is finally upon us. The grid shift is complete and the work of Kryon moves into a powerful teaching mode. More shifts are now at hand with the slow changing of the crystalline grid. Our children continue to change (believe it!), and we are facing a few more months of uncertainty before there is a gradual settling.

Perhaps you are one of those who have felt tired all the time? Welcome to the group! Perhaps you have been anxious, waiting "for the other shoe to drop"? Welcome home! These are probably the most common feelings of many Lightworkers all over the planet. Much of this is about to move into a different scenario.

But the elephant is a big one, isn't it? Go ahead, light the sparkler and have a little bubbly, but do you dare look under the table? Here's what I say: Not only might you consider looking under the table, but why not say hi to the beast, and perhaps even name it and take it for a walk! See you created it. It totally belongs to you.

You might say, "Whoa! I didn't create war or the problems I see on this planet. I never wanted that!" Some of you even cast off responsibility saying, "I didn't even vote for that guy." Somehow that's supposed to absolve you from everything done for 4 years (perhaps even 8!). Indeed, that may be true in your individual consciousness, but you DID agree to come to this planet at a time of incredible change to make a difference. You gave permission for these kind of "getting off the fence," history-changing attributes of the elephant before you. You infused your intent and vibration into this planet. Remember when you gave permission for peace on earth? Remember when you gave intent for solving the unsolvable? Well, that's what's happening now, and you are very much a part of it. Did you think you could sit in the corner while all this took place in the other room? No. Get ready to work.

Its called "pruning." Giant corporations are falling over due to integrity issues. Big money is actually changing its grip on society. One of the largest and most established religions on the planet is being punched in the nose due to past integrity issues, and even politics is beginning to change. Statements that used to be politically ho-hum are instead breaking leaders who have been professional politicians all their lives. "You mean these guys have to start taking responsibility for what they say? Yep. (gasp) You think all this is an accident perhaps? Think again. There's just too much coincidence upon us. This elephant of Human change is real, and everything you see, fearful or not, is part of the shift, the one with your name on it.

If there is war in the air, then send light to the oval office and also to those huddling in fear in their homes in distant lands...waiting for the bombs to fall...feeling that they too have no control over anything. See the shift in our planet's energy as happening in ways that are not destructive, and which may go faster than planned. Own the elephant and take charge of it! Your energy makes a difference. Don't pretend it doesn't exist, or feel that it's out of your control. This elephant of change will respond to Human consciousness, and you are in that choir.

So if you see me walking my elephant, you'll know why. I, like you, designed and built it. It represents a time on our planet that no prophet on earth foresaw, and that no entity in the Universe pre-ordained. The future of the planet is not set in cement (no matter what you have been told). The size, color and even the name of your elephant is up to you.

So if you name it and spend time with it, you own it. If you fear it, then it will run right over you. Then you give it power to seek its own level of energy instead of you taking charge of it and producing something with your awesome co-creative ability.

I named mine. Spot. Any spot I'm in, it's there too, ready to respond to my energy.

Now... if I could just keep the thing from jumping into my lap!
Happy New Year,

LEE CARROLL
