(April 23, 2002)
As I write this, I’m on an airplane with Jan to France, for our annual French Kryeon seminar. (They spell it Kryeon over there) It’s my 6th visit to this beautiful country, and Jan’s 5th. At last count, 1500 people are preparing to join us at this seminar. I could write several articles about our adventures to these seminars (and perhaps I will some day), but this one is about Israel and the world situation. What can I say that hasn’t already been said on TV and radio by far more informed people than myself? Really very little. I’m not an expert, but these days even the experts don’t offer much consolation.

However, from a spiritual perspective, and from what Kryon has said throughout the past decade, I can offer some clarity. First, let’s review one of the basic statements from Kryon that has been with us since the beginning. He stated early on that we have changed our future from the most accepted prophecies of doom and gloom, to a “new earth.” Interestingly, he labeled the new earth, “The New Jerusalem.” In addition, almost 12 years ago he gave us a measuring-stick to examine. He said, “As go the Jews, go Earth.” Today, that might be enough for you to sink in your chair and say, “Indeed we are doomed! Israel is not doing well at all, and neither are those in the conflict with them.”

Not to minimize the situation, but this is not a war about religion. It’s a war over a very old-energy: who did what to whom, and who came first. It’s a war between brothers for thousands of years (do the lineage! It’s true). It’s a bitter struggle that seems to be unsolvable and one (at the moment) where two old-energy war leaders are having at it, as they have before. When asked by Israelis, “How long will this take,” the answer from Kryon was “The potential is until 2008.” This does not seem like good news at all! This statement, given in 1999 (the beginning of the latest uprising) at a Kryon seminar in Israel didn’t sit well with the Jews. Indeed, the war we expected is now here, that should be obvious. (It’s interesting how some of the modern-day tabloid prophets are now predicting war. Perhaps they are not watching CNN? A bit late, I’d say.)

Some metaphysical lightworkers have cancelled their trips to Israel due to the escalating tensions in the region…From Neal Donald Walsh to Steve and Barbara Rother (Planet Lightworker). At a time when the people of this area seem to be begging for spiritual help, suddenly it’s inappropriate to be there. By the way… those I spoke of didn't make their choice out of fear, but out of wisdom. Presently, large gatherings are invitations for turmoil, and the last thing an author/speaker wants, is to create an environment that might be harmful for the audience. This is the overriding issue for these authors and other light workers I know that prompted them to cancel their engagements.

So, what did Kryon’s words mean? Is the world in such deep trouble that there is no way out? Where is the hope in all this? Many of us have stopped watching television, since we are so gripped by the destruction of lives on both sides. But it won’t go away. Where is the “New Jerusalem?” Kryon also told us years ago (and published it in the 8th book) that we ALL would be involved. No longer would parts of the world sit back and watch others “duke it out” without involvement. It was very clear in what he said, “None of you can escape this.” In 1999 he spoke of the old against the new. He told of a “chasm” opening and a great division between these two polarities. He then said that there could be no more “fence sitting” by former observers (meaning, us). In 1948, 1967, and 1973 most of the western world sat and observed this mid-east struggle. The biggest change now is that we are profoundly part of it. Our own 9-11 experience should have shown us that.

So, back to the big question? Is it all falling apart? … Or falling together? Are we headed into another prophecy that indeed may be as horrible as the first one? We avoided the prophesied Armageddon, and by the late 80’s this was obvious. Are we now creating a new one? Kryon has said this (and I paraphrase): There will be no peace until a “draw to zero” (1999 Kryon message during my lecture in Tel Aviv). Part of that was “ground zero” in Manhattan, but not all of it. Kryon says that there must come two leaders who are NOT warriors. (That seems almost impossible in the Middle East, but that’s what has been said). The “draw to zero” is a consciousness state where the old paradigm and ideas of what solution may be, goes away. The “zero” is a starting point without the old assumptions and demands. It will be the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple for the third time, but not as a building…not in 4D. This metaphor is for everyone on earth, and not just Israel. It’s for the whole family, including the “brothers against brothers” who are fighting at the moment. The “temple” is our God-consciousness. It’s also the temple of a new civilization. It means dropping the energy of everything that has happened and starting over.

It means revisiting the goal itself, and what everyone wants. It means an end to all the old claims, hurts, disappointments and victims. It means solutions coming from a different place, and with different perspectives. It means the dropping of revenge and hatred and instead understanding that this strife was “given” to bring us all to our knees so that the real goals could prevail. Impossible you say? It’s our only hope.

Hopefully we are finally seeing that in this new earth, war is not going to solve anything. Oh, there might be a “winner” for the moment, just like in the Israel wars of 1948, 1967, and 1973. But here we are again a generation later, seemingly repeating the same thing! Kryon has said that this time it’s “for keeps.” By the way, add up the years… 48, 67, 73, and 01 (the year of 9-11) and you get 9… the energy number of “completion.” This time it’s different.

Despite vastly overwhelming military strength, Israel isn’t making a dent in “hatred elimination.” Americans got a big dose of this situation on 9-11. With vastly overwhelming military strength, we are not making a difference in hatred either. No matter what middle eastern person you speak to, even the admitted terrorists, most are giving the same story: “Solve the Palestine/Israel problem, and terrorism can slowly be eliminated.” It all points back to Jerusalem, doesn’t’ it? … The focal point of all the prophesies, including that of Kryon.

So, what’s really going on? Kryon says that we are seeing a cleansing. It’s hurtful, painful and will expose the core issues for earth. It will affect everyone… everyone! “You think you are in it now, America?” Kryon says, “Just wait.” This will become a global issue that none of us can escape. The good news? In addition to the obvious metaphor, the “New Jerusalem” is also a real city with real solutions and eventual peace. Will there ever come a day when Palestinian and Israeli children are not taught to hate the neighbor on the other side of the fence because of what they did? Kryon says, ‘yes,’ this is indeed our potential plan. They live in many of the same cities, you know (Just in case you felt they could just ‘build a wall.’) It may take decades to temper and achieve this balance, but you are witnessing the beginning of this very thing. Ugly? Yes. Deplorable? Yes. Heartbreaking? Yes. For those cynics, I ask you to go to Guatemala and ask them how they put together peace after a 30-year civil war that touched almost every family there. Ask those in Northern Ireland what it’s like to walk the streets without fear in this new millennium. There is precedent and there is hope. These examples don’t rival the very old problems in the Middle East, but they show that “the unsolvable” has a chance to be changed. For me… I don’t want to wait, either. Like you, I’m torn by what I see. And like you, I pray every day for the families who have decided to play this out in a land that is the focus of the entire planet’s hopes. I have friends there. I have walked in these places and felt the energy. I want it to heal quickly!

In Love,
