How would you define a hero? Is it someone who has performed a courageous act, or a person on an adventure that takes him or her beyond what can be defined as an "ordinary experience?" In many ways, each of us is a hero because of the courageous act of being birthed Human.

In a "Tribute to Courage" we will acknowledge a person or persons who have consciously taken on an experience that is bigger than oneself and demonstrated acts of faith and courage. We will follow their stories as they undergo challenging psychological, spiritual or physical transformations in their quest for revelations and truth. Hopefully, with the sharing of these stories, each of us can discover new depths of courage within ourselves - illuminating our own heroic journey.

It is with all appropriateness that our first salute be assigned to Jan and Lee and The People of Israel for demonstrating extraordinary valor in their decision to allow the Kryon energy to venture into Israel during the height of political unrest and potential danger.

It was once again time of great turmoil in the Middle East. Israel was engulfed in internal disputes that have plaqued them for centuries. The core of religious and political differences had again erupted into military action, and Human Beings were being caught in the cross-fire daily. Negotiations attempting to silence the unrest were unsuccessful and my dear friends, Jan and Lee, were preparing to enter this chaos to present a Kryon seminar.

At first, I thought to myself, "No way would you get me to go into that situation." And apparently, I wasn't the only one fearing for their safety, as friends and family encouraged them to cancel the seminar until the region calmed down. Just before they left, the State Department issued an advisory to tourists avoid this region, but that didn't seem to phase them.

I talked with both Jan and Lee several days before their departure. I noticed a peaceful confidence had surrounded them. They appeared unaffected by the fear that relentlessly fought for their attention. After awhile it became very clear to me that these two "knew," without a doubt, their contract. They "knew" that they were fully equipped with the love of Spirit and the knowledge needed to remain safe. It was with this awareness that I honored the awesome task they were about to undertake upon. Jan and Lee made a conscious choice to experience this event and bring the energy of Kryon into this region, a place in desperate need of resolution and rejuvenation.

The following questions help us gain insight into what transpired in the days prior to their departure to Israel. The answers to these questions help us to look deeper into our own beings to find the courage to walk peacefully in our own journeys.

Question: What was your first reaction when asked to give a Kryon seminar with the unrest in Israel?

Lee: I really wondered if Spirit was giving us a message not to go. I live in the "now," and even though we were scheduled, I always honor shift and change, and I was ready to halt the trip if needed. We asked our friends, and they said "Don't go." Even some very intuitive people said we should stay. I'm not ashamed for anyone to know that Lee Carroll's first reaction was "Oh boy...What now?"

Jan: Actually, it was several years ago that Lee, Kryon and I were first invited to Israel, but we decided to wait till we "KNEW" it was the "right time" to be there. It was only AFTER making the decision in 2000 to go to Israel that we began to see an acceleration in the political unrest. It was two weeks prior to our departure when I experienced a major shift in energy that left me exhilarated and charged with the thought of actually going to Israel. I KNEW, for me and my work, it was part of an important spiritual contract.

Question: Did you at any time feel that "maybe" you should not go, and if you did have a flicker of doubt, what changed your mind?

Lee: I took the doubt that I indicated in the first question, and put it to Spirit. It's kind of funny, actually. I went to Kryon and said, "Okay...so they are having trouble in Israel, and the State Department has issued an advisory for tourists not to go. Perhaps things are not on the schedule we saw previously?" What I got was a big smile from Spirit and the words...

"It's exactly as the potential showed it would be. You are in the perfect moment. GO!"

Jan: When I first noticed the political activity increasing I went within and asked Spirit, "what was going on?" The Energy Shift I experienced a couple of weeks prior, assured me, we were suppose to "GO."

Question: How did you feel when you "knew" everything was appropriate and your awareness prepared you to walk into the journey?

Lee: As soon as I had the answer (the previous question), I felt totally relaxed. This is not bravery. It's experiential. When God sanctions your action, and you have honored Spirit with good questions and pure intent, then you have a green light. It has taken years to "know" what a green or red light feels like. There is nothing on Earth like the divine Love that goes with these answers. I felt great! Our Israel hosts were positive also, and there was no fear on either side.

Jan: I felt I was about to have an experience of a lifetime, and it turned out just as I had been told by Spirit.

Question: What was your biggest concern and how did you

overcome it?

Lee: After I got the green light, the only real concern I had was if the energy around our visit would cooperate with our decision. This might sound odd, but it means that I had my "antenna" out for things that might try to stop us from going. Remember the Human experience on the planet is about balance. God may say "Go..." But you have to then watch for the rocks in the road. It's a partnership, and I was ready. I'm glad too, for the first thing "out of the blocks" was a radar failure at the west coast facility in Palmdale that looked like it would ground us from even taking off! Jan and I drove to Los Angeles (instead of sitting in San Diego), and arrived just in time for the radar situation to clear, and to board our flight.

Jan: Lee and I travel extremely well together. When we arrived in London, I KNEW all was well, simply put, I had an "Inner Knowing, an Inner Peace."

Question: What awareness do you feel you contributed to this region?

Lee: I would rather answer, "What did the region contribute to me?" Yes, Kryon opened a portal, and yes, we had lots of good energy and a wonderful message (which you can read on-line). But I want to share with everyone that the real heroes in this story are the family of lightworkers and citizens of the Middle East. They live in constant fear of the situation... Both sides. They are afraid of Armageddon and of war. History has shouted from the prophets that this would be the "end," and suddenly they were in trouble. It's very scary for them. I learned from them, tremendous courage! I got to come home to America, where we have peace with neighboring states, and don't have near the history of strife they do. I'm happy and safe at home, but they still have the problem. Kryon told them that this was a "new beginning" and the end of the old stalemate. Still, years may go by before they see the manifestation of what Kryon indicated was their potential. I sat on stage and wept silently during channel. Kryon showed me 1,000 faces that begged for the fear to be lifted and for the their homes and family to be safe. For a few moments I felt their anguish. They are the heroes here. Let this article be about them. I left with a profound change in my heart, and new friends to think about. I do... daily.

Jan: I hope we brought a message of renewed hope, this was my prayer and intent before we left. I certainly agree with Lee in acknowledging the real heroes - the country and people of Israel. They brought me an overwhelming depth of Family and Love!

Lee, Jan, and The People of Israel, we honor you for choosing a "conscious undertaking." You've demonstrated acts of courage that will effects the transformation of the universe. For this heroic act we are deeply grateful. THANK YOU.
