CATS:HEALERS FOR CENTURIES |
||||||||||||||||||
Cats are often viewed as aloof, lazy and less affectionate then their dog counterparts. A person not exposed to the affectionate style of a cat will frequently mistake the behavior of these intuitive creatures as being extremely independent and very strong willed. For years the favorite household pet has been the dog, but recent surveys indicate an increase in the number of households adopting cats. Could this conversion in animal companions be due to the changing lifestyle of our culture, or because of the healing powers these animals may possess? My guess is that its a little of both.
It has been said that in the days
of Atlantis healers would use crystals to assist them in healing treatments.
When a healer was called to visit an outlying village, they were unable to
take along their crystals because the people of that time believed the stones
were tools of the black arts. Needing an alternative method to help transmute
the energy, healers would take along a cat as a surrogate tool. The cat, by
it's very nature, presented no threat and the healer was then permitted to
enter the person's home to perform the healing. As a result, cats have been
used throughout the centuries as conduits in the
Animals have been assisting humans for centuries; each has been assigned a specific job to facilitate their human companions. In many ancient cultures it was vogue to have a lion or other large cat next to a ruling entity. Many believe cats have the ability to transmit cosmic radio waves and act as links to other etheric realms.
Felines have been empowered to remove accumulated negative energy from the human body. On a daily basis, mostly while sleeping, cats assist in releasing all negative energy, such as stress, that has accumulated during the day. When a cat sleeps, their bodies release those energies that have been acquired; that's one of the reasons why cats sleep so much. When you are over stressed, the cat will attempt to take-on "all" of your negative energy. This often results in an overweight kitty. Without enough hours in a day to expel the energy, cats store the excess energy as fat until they can find a way to release it. Now you know why there are so many overweight cats, it isn't the food they are eating, but the stress and negative energy being fed to them. Having more than one cat in a household can take some of the burden off of a single cat, but reducing "your" stress and negative energy will make for a much healthier and happier environment for both you and your cat(s).
Throughout history cats have helped Humankind, and many kitty lives have been lost in the process. During World War II, over 500,000 cats were used by the British army to alert soldiers before a gas attack would occur. Over and over again animal companions, not only cats, have stepped up to the plate to assist humans. It's time we start to acknowledge their contributions and call attention to the to treatment of all animals around the globe.
